Mae Demos

Mae De Mos passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Eventide of Jamestown. She was 92.
Mae was born on July 26, 1926, to Jack and Jennie (Whittan) McKenzie in Minneapolis, MN. She was the oldest of 8 children. Mae married the love of her life, George De Mos in Nevada on November 11, 1951. Mae and George made Jamestown, ND their home in 1978. Mae was an accomplished oil painter.

She is survived by her sister, Marion McKenzie of Arizona, her brother, Chuck (Mary) McKenzie, of Arizona, brother, Robert McKenzie of Minneapolis, MN, daughter, Mary (Perry) of Columbus, MT, son-in-law, Jerry Navas, HI, grandchildren: Brandon and Sean Navas, Jennie Bump, many nieces and nephews and special friends, Vicky and Duane Olson of Jamestown.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George, parents, sisters Dorothy McKenzie and Jennie Lee Swanson, brothers Wally and Jack Jr. McKenzie, daughter, Elizabeth Navas and grandson, Gregory Frederick and several of her beloved dogs.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Jamestown Humane Society.

Memorial Service: 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Eventide Chapel, Jamestown, ND with Chaplain Susan Fandrich officiating.
