Magda C. Job

Magda C. Job, 93, Nortonville, North Dakota went home to be with her Lord, Monday, January 12, 2015 at Ave Maria Village Nursing Home, Jamestown, North Dakota. Magda Egerdahl was born February 19, 1921, in Jud, North Dakota to Haakon and Nina (Lind) Egerdahl. On October 2, 1940, she married Ludwig Job. They farmed west of Nortonville, North Dakota for six years. They moved to a farm east of Nortonville in 1946 where they farmed most of their lives. Ludwig passed away on June 25, 2002. Magda moved into Manor of St. Joseph Nursing Home in Edgeley on May 5, 2013, where she resided until moving into Ave Maria Village in Jamestown on December 29, 2014. Magda enjoyed crocheting, reading her Bible, playing board games with her grandchildren, gardening and flowers. Attending church was an important part of her life. She is survived by her children; LeRoy Job, Nortonville, ND, Roger Job, Nortonville, ND, Darlene (Hazen) Wolfe, Leesburg, Fla., Shirley (Craig) Leonard, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., John (Jacque) Job, Holt, MO, Della Job, Bismarck, ND, Karen (Gerald) Cichos, Bismarck, ND, Geraldine Job, Stuart, Fla., Donna (Gary) Rothwell, Jamestown, ND, Noel Job, Kansas City, MO; 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy (Alvin) Nelson, Lakeland, Fla., Verna Preusse, Milwaukee, WI, Donald Egerdahl, Lakeland, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, two daughters, five brothers and one sister.

Funeral Service: 10:00 AM, Friday, January 16, 2015 at Assembly of God Church, Jamestown with Pastor Jeff Wiedenmeyer, officiating.
Visitation: 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, January 15 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
