Marcella R Jawaski

Marcella Jawaski, 76, of Jamestown, ND, died Monday morning on July 9 at Eventide at Hi-Acres, Jamestown.

Marcella was one of a set of triplets born on May 1, 1942 at home to Alex and Olga (Koorney) Jawaski. She went to school in Dickey, ND and then moved to Jamestown with her sisters, dad and step-mother, Annie. Marcella worked at Alpha Opportunities and the ARC Aide thrift store in Jamestown for many years. She liked wearing jewelry and loved doing crafts, latch hook, embroidery, and working with plastic and yarn. Marcella also baby-sat nieces and nephews from time to time.

Marcella is survived by her triplet sister, Mae Jawaski; sisters, Esther Ketterling and Martha Berube; brothers, Ray (Shirley) Jawaski, and Fred Jawaski; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; triplet sister, Magdalene Jawaski; sisters, Helen, Agnes, and Ann; brothers-in-law, Nial, Harry, Robert, Melvin and Gerald; and step-mother.

Mass of Christian Burial : 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 12, 2018 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown, with Father Patrick Parks officiating.

Visitation: One hour before the service at the church.

Interment: Assumption Cemetery, Dickey, ND.
