Marcille Rieker

Marcille B. Rieker, 97, Jamestown, ND, died Friday, March 2, 2012 at Ave Maria Village in Jamestown.

Marcille B. McDonough was born November 13, 1914 at Marrietta, Minnesota, the daughter of Peter and Addie (Yetter) McDonough. They moved to Tappen, ND, where she attended school and graduated in 1932. She spent two years in California and returned to Tappen, where she married Ernest Rieker. She was a full time homemaker and joined the work force after her children were grown. She retired from the North Dakota State Hospital.

Marcille is survived by her daughter, Susanne Wojick, Jamestown; son, Mike Rieker, Fargo, ND; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest, in 2000; son, Dennis, in 2002; and two brothers, Harold and Dennis.
