Marcus Schumacher

Marcus Schumacher, 49, of Fargo, ND, died Thursday, February 11, 2016 at his home in Fargo.

Marcus was born September 12, 1966, in Bismarck, ND, the son of Markus and Marcella (Brown) Schumacher. He grew up in Devils Lake, ND and graduated from Devils Lake High School. Marcus married Michelle Hegle on March 6, 1987 in Devils Lake. They made their home in Grand Forks, Bismarck, and then Fargo. Mark was a golden-glove boxer and trained with Virgil Hill. He enjoyed building fences for 3D Specialties-Dakota Fence and for many years constructing communication towers, most recently for Mesquite Valley Communications. Mark enjoyed deer hunting, sitting in the hot-tub with family and friends, and fishing. He loved his family, and was a great lover of animals, especially his dog Spanky.

Mark is survived by his wife, Michelle Schumacher; daughter, Alexa (Nick) Picotte and their son Wyatt; sons, Dalton “DJ” and Cody; father, Markus Schumacher and mother, Marcella (Jim) Kuchar; brother, Marvin (Clella) Schumacher and their children, Cullin and Wolfie and grandmother Genny Brown.

He was preceded in death by his Grandpa Adam Brown, Grandparents, Wendelyn and Christine Schumacher; father-in-law, Lyle Hegle; and brothers-in-law, John Hegle and James Hegle.

Memorial Service: A private family service will be held at a later date with Bryce Tahran conducting the service.
