Margaret Eberhardt, 78, Jamestown, North Dakota, died Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City, ND.

Margaret M. Gardner was born February 17, 1931 in Logan County, North Dakota, the daughter of Michael and Elizabeth (Geisinger) Gardner. She was raised on the family farm southeast of Napoleon and attended school in Napoleon township. Margaret married Herbert Siewert in 1949 in Fargo, and they lived in Idaho and Washington. In 1966 Margaret married Rudolph Binder in Steele, ND. She worked as a janitor at Tappen Public School. Rudolph died in October 1977. She worked as a housemother at the North Dakota State Hospital for 15 years. Margaret married Albert Eberhardt in 1983, and she enjoyed going on the road with him working for Northern Improvement.

Margaret loved her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She enjoyed gardening, quilting with her sisters, and she liked the Twins, Vikings, and Nascar. She was always busy.

Margaret is survived by two daughters, Janice Harr and Joanne (William L.) Seekins, both of Jamestown; one son, Michael J. (Tammy) Binder, Fargo, ND; six grandchildren, Darcy Harr, Twila (Eric) Duhigg, William F. \""Bud\"" Seekins, Sasha L. Seekins, Alexandria Jo Binder and Alexis Jo Alberta Binder; one great-grandson, Ted Erdahl; and one sister, Eva Moore, Fargo, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; seven sisters, Theresa, Katherine, Mary, Elizabeth \""Lizzie\"", Magdalene, Christina, Judy and one brother, Anton.
