Margaret Ann Hayes

Margaret Ann Hayes, 85, of Annandale, VA, formerly of Jamestown, ND died May 23, 2003 at Shady Grove Hospital in Rockville, MD.

Margaret Ann Schmitt was born April 16, 1918 in Jamestown the daughter of John and Rosamond (Haskin) Schmitt. She grew up in Jamestown and graduated from Jamestown High School. Margaret worked in the Stutsman County offices in Jamestown before she married Thomas J. Hayes on July 17, 1944 in Montana. They made their home in Jamestown for many years. Thomas died on October 14, 1996.

Margaret is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda (Terry) Bathen of Annandale, VA and Reen (Bill) Lyddane of Annandale, VA; three grandchildren, Alexis Wirtz and Billy and Erin Lyddane.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Funeral Service: 10:30AM Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown with Pastor Dennis Ellingsen officiating.

Visitation: Tuesday, May 27, 2003 from 9:00AM to 9:00PM at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Prayer Service: 7:00PM Tuesday, May 27, 2003 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown.
