Margaret Stroh, 95, Jamestown, ND passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Eventide Jamestown.
Margaret Wehler was born February 28, 1922 in Wilmar, MN to J.T. and Ella (Paulson) Wehler. Margaret attended and graduated from Jamestown High School. On February 15, 1941, Margaret married Jack Stroh.
Margaret worked at Kings Studio in Jamestown before Jack entered the service. She also supplied roller skates to people in Jamestown and the surrounding communities so those interested could roller skate. Margaret held jobs at Jamestown Hospital as an aide and finished her working career at the North Dakota State Hospital as an Asst. Physical Therapist for 35 years.
She enjoyed roller skating, singing and music and was an excellent cook. Margaret belonged to the J-Notes singing group and St. John’s Church Choir.
Margaret is survived by her son Tom (Debbie) Stroh, Jamestown, ND; daughter Sandie (Gary) Sahr, Jamestown, ND and 14 grandchildren. She was preceded in death her parents, husband, daughter Jackie, two brothers Adolf, Ed Wehler and an infant sister.
Visitation will be 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Eddy Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, August 25 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Erik Weber, officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
