Marguerite Mcilonie

Marguerite McIlonie, 94, Jamestown, North Dakota passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 at Ave Maria Village Nursing Home, Jamestown, North Dakota. Marguerite Wegmann was born January 24, 1921, in Rochester, Minnesota to Fred and Mary (Wanke) Wegmann. Marguerite and her family moved to Edmunds, North Dakota where she attended and graduated from Edmunds High School. On August 18, 1940, she married Walter McIlonie near Edmunds. They farmed in Walters Township. Marguerite was a member of the Pingree U.C.C. Ladies Aid and Homemakers Club. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, reading, working and spending time with family and neighbors. She is survived by her children, Bernard (Darlene) McIlonie, Jamestown, ND, Sheila McIlonie, Minneapolis, MN and Robert (Linda) McIlonie, Pingree, ND; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sisters, Dorothy Steele and Irene Kracht.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Monday, August 24 at Eddy Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bryce Tahran, officiating.
Visitation: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Sunday, August 23 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Family will be receiving friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
Burial: Pingree Cemetery.
