Marian Brenneise

Marian Gienger Brenneise, 72, Jamestown, North Dakota went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 13, 2006 after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer.

Marian Mary Gienger was born April 21, 1934 in Streeter, North Dakota the daughter of Paul and Mary (Seidel) Gienger. She grew up in the Streeter area and graduated from Streeter High School. Marian married Harlyn Brenneise in 1952. They later divorced. She worked at the Streeter Post Office for six years, Coca Cola Bottling Co. for 18 years and at Wal-Mart for 12 years, from where she retired.

Marian's family meant everything to her and one of her greatest joys in life was spending time with them. Marian dearly loved the Lord and was a faithful prayer warrior. As a member of Temple Baptist Church she served as a deaconess, ministered in the Awana program and women's ministries. She loved to read, watch the Minnesota Twins, travel and spend time with her friends.

Marian is survived by her two children, Michael (Ronda) Brenneise, Denver, CO and Charlotte J. Wahl, Mahtomedi, MN; six grandchildren, Melanie Dewald, Melissa Brenneise, Chad Brenneise, Callie Wahl, Nicole Brenneise and Dustin Wahl; two sisters, Maggie Mayer, Sacramento, CA and Helen (LeRoy) Lang, Jamestown and one brother, Wilmer (Erma) Gienger, Jamestown.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Wade Wahl; four brothers, Peter, Jacob, Paul and Jake and two sisters, Louise Dockter and Pauline Wood.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Thanks for being a wonderful mom and grandma.

Funeral Service: 1:30 PM, Monday, July 17, 2006 at Temple Baptist Church, Jamestown with Rev. Randy Jaspers officiating.

Visitation: 12:00 to 5:00 PM, Sunday, July 16, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Home in Jamestown.

Prayer Service: 5:00 PM, Sunday , July 16, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
