Marian Pless

Marian Wright Pless, 94, Anaheim, California, formerly of Jamestown, ND, died April 27, 2008 in Anaheim.

Marian was born April 27, 1914 in Jamestown, the daughter of Russell and Ida (Challoner) Wright. She grew up on the family farm and graduated from Jamestown High School. Marian received nursing training at Jamestown Hospital. She joined the Army Nurse Corps in California and served overseas. She later received a Masters Degree and was a nurse for many years in Boston, MA. Marian moved to California to be near her family.

Marian is survived by her sister, Ann Elizabeth Wright (Robert) Bross, Stanton, CA and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Clarra Wright Hummel and Marjorie Wright Lynn.

A private graveside service is planned at Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.
