Marie Lackman

Marie Lackman, 96, Edgeley, ND died on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at Central Dakota Village, Jamestown, ND.
Marie Derr was born on May 14, 1909 at Sugar City, Colorado the daughter of George and Elizabeth (Voight) Derr. She moved with her family to Mitchell, Nebraska where she attended school. Marie married Alexander Lackman in Nebraska on March 11, 1930. In 1940 the extended family moved to the Wolverton and Rothsay area of Minnesota where they farmed. Alex and Marie moved to the Edgeley area in 1952 where they farmed until retiring in 1973. Alex and Marie became residents of Central Dakota Village in 1997. Alex died August 18, 2001.
Survivors include 7 children: Emanuel (Mary), Edgeley, ND; Rebecca (Richard) Olson, LaMoure, ND; Laurine (Eugene) Olson, Litchville, ND; Ruben (Lois), Mandan, ND; Leah (Clarence) Jaeger, Murfreesboro, TN; Bette (Robert) McDonald, Cloquet, MN; and Paul (Barbara), Jamestown, ND; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Lackman, Edgeley, ND; 31 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 daughter, 1 son, 3 grandchildren; 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
Funeral Service - 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Edgeley, ND
Prayer Service - 7:30 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2006 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Edgeley, ND
Visitation - 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, January 29, 2006 and 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2006 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Edgeley, ND and 1 hour prior to services on Tuesday at Lisko Funeral Chapel.
Interment - Mount Hope Cemetery, Edgeley, ND
