Marilyn Frahm

Marilyn Frahm, 86, Jamestown, ND passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020 at her home in AZ.

Marilyn Maxine Burton was born February 26, 1934 on a farm near Wessington, SD to Frank and Vera (Christenson) Burton. The family moved to Bonilla, SD when Marilyn was in the 3rd grade. She graduated from Bonilla High School in 1952 and went on to work at Farmers and Merchants Bank, Huron, SD.

Marilyn married Dorsey H. Doyle in 1953 and moved to Jamestown, ND. She worked at the Credit Bureau, Credit Manager for Sears Roebuck & Montgomery Ward Co. She retired in 1993 from the U.S. Post Office as a rural mail carrier.

On January 10, 1987 Marilyn married Eugene Frahm.

Marilyn’s children are Mike Doyle (deceased), Mitch (Nita) Doyle, New Salem, ND, Michelle (Randy) Siek, Jamestown, ND, Maureen Doyle, Jamestown; her late husband Eugene Frahm’s children are Donn (Kristi) Frahm, New Rockford, ND, James (Lori) Frahm, Wimbledon, ND, Joan (Paul) Stahlhut, Jamestown, ND and Mona Sattler (deceased); 29 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; Sister Jeannine (Gene) Hoffman, Dell Rapids, SD; brother Clayton (deceased), (Merry) Burton, Bonilla, SD; brother Larry Burton (deceased). Others preceding in death are parents Frank and Vera Burton, sister Jeanette, brother Larry, son Micheal, daughter Mona and husband’s Dorsey Doyle and Eugene Frahm.

Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Eddy Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Friday, June 5 at Eddy Funeral Home with Pastor Jeanne Sortland officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, ND.
