Marion A. Oster

Marion A. Oster, 83, West Fargo, ND peacefully entered eternal life January 16, 2017 surrounded by her family.
Marion Clemens was born on the family farm March 20, 1933 to Roy Clemens and Florence (Pendray) Clemens. She attended a one room school in the Lenton Township where she completed an 8th grade education. Marion married James Oster on November 6, 1949. They made their home in Jamestown where they raised six children.
Marion was employed for 25 years at Eventide Nursing Home in Jamestown. She loved caring for the residents at the facility. She attended Pingree Congregational Church until December 2011 when she entered Eventide Sheyenne Crossings Care Center in West Fargo, ND. As a resident at Sheyenne Crossings Marion continued to "care" for her fellow residents even though she was confined to a wheelchair. Marion was very strong, yet kind, and loved her family and many friends.
Marion is survived by one daughter Colleen (Mike) Dronen, Jamestown, ND; one son Paul (Tracy) Oster, Ipswich, SD; one daughter-in-law Betty Jo Oster, Prescott, AZ; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; one brother Lloyd Clemens, Jamestown, ND; three sisters Margaret Reinke, Jamestown, ND, Mildred (Bill) Reinke, Billings, MT, Ardell Forehand, Weaverville, NC; special friends Christine Olson and Denny Lokken, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sons, Gail, Stanley, Bruce, one daughter, Charlene Schmitt, her parents, one sister and two brothers.

Memorial Service: 1:30 PM, Saturday, January 21 at Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Bryce Tahran, officiating.
No visitation is scheduled.
