Marjorie Kokott

Marjorie Kokott, 80, Jamestown, North Dakota died Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, ND.

Marjorie Kunz was born November 10, 1926 in Jamestown the daughter of William and Hulda (Zielke) Kunz. She received her education in Bloom Township. On November 6, 1948 Marjorie married Marvin Dwelle. They lived in Jamestown. Marvin died December 20, 1970. Marjorie married James Kokott on May 26, 1978. She worked in medical records at Jamestown Hospital for over 30 years. James died March 1, 2006.

Marjorie enjoyed sewing, baking, yardwork and especially watching her grandchildren participate in sports. She was a lifetime member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown.

Marjorie is survived by two sons, Timothy (Julie) Dwelle and Ronald (Deb) Dwelle; two daughters, Jan (David) Odin and Nancy (Tim) Dabill, all of Jamestown; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three step-daughters, Linda Brooks, Bowman, ND, Angie Kokott, Jamestown and Theresa Wienke, New Hope, MN; two step-sons, James Kokott, Jr., Tallahassee, FL and Timothy Kokott, New York City, NY; ten step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; two brothers, William Kunz, Middlesboro,KY and Leonard Kunz, Littleton, CO and one sister, Donna Moser, Lakewood, CO.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; a son, Dennis and five brothers.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Friday, February 9, 2007 at St. John's Lutheran Church with Rev. Doug Opp officiating.

Visitation: 1:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 8, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
