Mark Burkle, 48, of Jamestown ND, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Golden Acres Manor in Carrington, ND.
Mark is the son of Clifford and Philipine “Kay” (Reich) Burkle, born on June 8, 1969 in Jamestown ND. He grew up surrounded by a loving family and many friends. He graduated from Jamestown High School in 1991. Mark had many hobbies including: bowling, fishing, dancing, camping, riding motorcycle with his brother, Paul, competing in the Special Olympics and fishing derbies where he was awarded many medals and ribbons. He also enjoyed: animals (especially his cat), giving massages, playing UNO, and loved listening to music.
Mark is survived by his brothers; Lyle Burkle of Omaha, NE, Paul (Kathryn) Burkle, and Larry (Cindy) Burkle of Jamestown, sisters; Janet (Rick) Schapp of Bismarck, Sara (Mitch) Casper of Rice, MN, and Candida O’Neil of Helena, MT, 16 nieces and nephews, 15 great nieces and nephews, and many friends and staff from Alpha.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Clifford and Kay Burkle, and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 30th, 2017 at The First Congregational United Church of Christ with Rev. Martin Nussbaum officiating.
Visitation: 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 29th, 2017 at Eddy Funeral Home.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown.
