Mark Peske

Mark Wayne Peske, 68, Ypsilanti, North Dakota passed away Friday, August 23, 2024 at his home.

Mark was born February 12, 1956 in Jamestown, ND to Charles and Jean Peske.  Mark attended and graduated from local schools.  Mark enlisted in the USMC on March 27, 1973 and was honorably discharged on March 26, 1975.  Mark drove truck for 20 years, and then went to work for Cavendish Farms where he retired after 23 years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his horse Belle with friends and family, especially the Cowboy Up Ride Against Cancer benefitting the Roger Maris Cancer Center.

Mark married the love of his life, Karen Radtke, June 14, 2014.  She preceded him in death on August 26, 2015.

Mark is survived by his daughter Amy (Mike) Sahr, Ypsilanti, ND; grandchildren Taryn Mittleider and Casen Ronnie; his twin brother Jim (Donna) Peske, Lamoille, NV; sister, Cheryl (Don) Maier, Mandan, ND; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He also leaves behind many cherished friends, his beloved dog, Frank and horse Belle.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, August 30, 2024 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, ND with Chaplain Kathleen Heller officiating.  A private family interment will be in Ypsilanti Cemetery.
