Martha Magdalena Heiser Reglin, 92 years of age and a longtime harborite, died on Friday, February 8, 2008 in Pacific Care and Rehabilitation Center in Hoquiam, Washington.
Martha was born on October 26, 1915 in Streeter, North Dakota to Jacob and Friderica (Furst) Heiser. She was raised and attended school in the Streeter, North Dakota area and the family resided in town. She was raised by her older sister, Christine, after her dad had died when Martha was a young girl. Her sister, Elizabeth, took the children in and when Martha was a teenager she did housekeeping for room and board.
Martha was married to Frederick H. Reglin on March 14, 1939 in Bloom, North Dakota. The couple made their home in Bloom and farmed there. In 1954 the family moved to Jamestown, North Dakota. They came to Hoquiam in 1969 and she had since resided in the area. He died on November 11, 1998.
Martha was a member of the Hoquiam Eagles Auxiliary, Aerie #252. She enjoyed working in her flower garden.
Martha is survived by one son, James O. Reglin of 550 Sunset Drive in Hoquiam, WA.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three sisters, Christine Heiser, Elizabeth Gums and Freda Jones; and two brothers, Jack and Albert.
Graveside Service: 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Highland Home Cemetery in Jamestown, North Dakota.
