Martin Lehnen, 96, Jamestown, ND, died Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Hi-Acres Manor, Jamestown, ND.

Martin Edmund Lehnen was born August 4, 1913 at Calio, ND, the son of Matthew and Magdalene (Siren) Lehnen. He was raised on the family farm and attended the country school near Calio, ND. He worked on farms in the area and then bought his own farm where he farmed until retiring in the 1960's. After retiring, he moved to Jamestown, ND. In 1993, he entered Rock of Ages Care Center and in 2009 entered Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home in Jamestown, ND.

Survivors include 3 children: Loren Lehnen, Leeds, ND; Dana Lehnen, Minnesota; Donald (Phyllis) Lehnen, Douglas, WY; 2 sisters: Sophie Haus, Fargo, ND and Elizabeth Lehnen and special friends, George and Ione Gray, Jamestown, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Robert.

Funeral - 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 21, 2009 at Hi-Acres Manor Chapel, Jamestown, ND.

Visitation - 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2009 at Lisko Chapel, Jamestown, ND and 1 hour prior to services at Hi-Acres Manor Chapel on Monday.

Interment - Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, ND
