Marvel Freadhoff, 84, Jamestown, North Dakota died Monday, December 4, 2006 at her home.

Marvel May Erbele was born April 1, 1922 in Streeter, North Dakota the daughter of Gottlieb and Alta (Cooper) Erbele. Marvel attended grammar school through 7th grade in Streeter, eighth grade in Forman, ND and graduated from Beach High School in 1940. She attended Valley City State Teachers College in Valley City, ND. On October 29, 1950 Marvel married Ray Emery Freadhoff in the Nortonville Methodist Church in Nortonville, ND. They farmed in the Nortonville area until their retirement in 1974 when they moved to Jamestown where they have lived since.

Marvel is survived by two sisters, Doreen (Richard) Jordan, Cross Lake, MN and Mary Carol Evenson, Greeley, CO; three nephews, George Erbele, Modesto, CA, Kirk (Beth) Evenson, Great Falls, MT and Brock (Michelle) Buehler, Edina, MN; three nieces, Kerry Evenson Mayer, Littleton, CO, Lynette (Kassim) Alkanani, Aurora, CO and Margo Jordan (Dick Norlander), Isle, MN and several grand nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents and two brothers, Harry and George.

Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 9, 2006 at the First United Methodist Church in Jamestown with Rev. Kenrad Pederson officiating.

No visitation is scheduled.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Jamestown Hospice or First United Methodist Church in Jamestown.

Private family burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
