Marvin Henry Erickson

Marvin H. Erickson 71 passed away November 3, 2023

in his home in Jamestown, ND. He was born August 24, 1952 to Henry and Elva Erickson of rural Jamestown.

He graduated from Jamestown High School in 1970 and enlisted in Army shortly after. Upon returning to Jamestown he worked various places. He moved to Portland, Oregon and worked as a machinist for several years. He returned to Jamestown to be near family.

One of his fondest memories was riding his motorcycle to the Sturgis SD Motorcycle Rally along with his brother Gary. He was also proud of the Maverick Grabber that he bought new.

He is survived by his sisters, Alice (James) Larson, Jan (Gene) Hetletved and nieces and nephews: Pam (Mike) Daly, Christine (Stale) Ardal, Gerald (Jacque) Erickson, Glen Erickson, Don (Jen White) Erickson, Cale (Lavonne) Kiser, Jeff (Vangie) Kiser, Lee (Penny) Hetletved, and Clint (Lacey) Hetletved and many great-nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Carol Erickson.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Erik Weber officiating.
