Marvin Priewe

Marvin Priewe, 72, Cleveland, North Dakota died Saturday, January 6, 2007 at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, North Dakota.

Mr. Priewe was born February 5, 1934 in Amenia, ND, the son of Theodore and Clara (Grieger) Priewe. Marvin worked at various places including Westend Creamery in Casselton, ND, Haybusters, Wiest Trucking, the Ford Garage, and he also worked in the fields plowing and haying. On April 18, 1989 he married Sharla Soma in Jamestown.

Marvin enjoyed going to auction sales, working on vehicles, sleigh rides and pony rides. He also enjoyed helping his daughter make things with wood, sewing clothes and spending time with his grandchildren and going on the truck with Larry and western songs.

Marvin is survived by his wife, Sharla; one daughter, Shannon Priewe, both of Cleveland; two sons, Bob Priewe, Fargo , ND and Dan (Laura Lee) Priewe, Solway, MN; two grandchildren; one brother, Bud (Grace) Priewe, Wyndmere, ND; two sisters, Devina Sherritt, West Fargo, ND and Deloris (Chuck) Willhoite, Fargo, ND; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Margaret.

Funeral Service: 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 11, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown with Pastor Richard Reynolds officiating.

Visitation: 1:00 to 5:00 PM, Wednesday, January 10, 2007 and 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 11, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Casselton Cemetery, Casselton, North Dakota.
