Mary Johnson

Mary Johnson, 69, Jamestown, North Dakota died Sunday, November 29, 2009 at Jamestown Hospital.

Mary Margaret Nystrom was born August 14, 1940 at Trinity Hospital in Jamestown, ND, the daughter of Edward and Frances (Hoffart) Nystrom. Mary graduated from Cleveland High School in 1958. She married Charles L. Johnson in 1958. They later divorced in 1972. She was owner/manager of the Cleveland bar for 20 years.

She enjoyed Artex painting, cooking, sharing recipes and being with her family and friends.

Mary is survived by two daughters, Sherry (Blaine) Jacobs, Jamestown and Teressa (Jeff) Eyler, Seattle, WA; one son, Michael Johnson, Jamestown; three grandchildren, Ryan Wegner, Jamestown and Shawn and Ashley Johnson, Cottage Grove, OR; one great-granddaughter, Raine; and one uncle, Elias (Marilyn) Hoffart, Moorhead, MN.

She was preceded in death her parents and one son, Charles, Jr.
