Mary E Kertzman

Mary Kertzman, 77, of Bismarck, ND, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021 at St. Rose Care Center, LaMoure, ND.

Mary was born February 12, 1944, in Oakland, CA, the daughter of James Oscar and Helen (Schomp) Estes.  She graduated from Highland High School in Sacramento, CA and attended Delta College in Stockton, CA.  Mary was a hairdresser for many years and raised two boys, Michael and John.  She enjoyed camping, horse-back riding and cattle ranching.

Mary is survived by her sons, Michael D. Hayes and John (Janelle) Kertzman; grandchildren, Aubrey Hayes, Carrington June (Cameron) Gallatin; great grandchild, Aspen Gallatin; and siblings, Jasper Estes and Kathy Estes.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Estes.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a private family service.
