Mary Ann Kleinjan

Mary Ann Kleinjan, 83, of Jamestown, died on Monday, May 29, 2017 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

Mary Ann Butler was born February 15, 1934 in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of William Christopher and Emily Florence (Mitchell) Butler. She graduated from Washburn High School in South Minneapolis and attended two years of college at St. Catherine’s in St. Paul, MN. Mary Ann married Walter Kleinjan on September 12, 1955 in Jamestown where they made their home and raised six boys. She worked at the Jamestown Hospital as a Ward Secretary for 27 years. Mary Ann was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and United Presbyterian Church, Jamestown. She enjoyed reading, camping, traveling, roses and tulips, and collecting lighthouses and Boyds Bears.

Mary Ann is survived by her five sons, William C. (Linda Handley) of Santee, CA, Anthony J (Lori Hawkinson) of Memphis, TN, Joel T. (Jennifer Bohn) of Watertown, WI, Kevin (Lisa Gahner) of Fargo, ND, and Keith B. of Jamestown; eleven grandchildren, Dylan (Kayla), Mackenzie, Jamison, Bethaney (Michael), Joshua (Sue), Wyatt, Christopher, Cassandra (Matthew), Mariah, Trevor, and Dalton (Victoria); six great grandchildren, Corrine, Lauren, Easton, Blayklee, Olivia, and Emma.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter in December 1998; and son, Jon.

Funeral Service: 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at United Presbyterian Church, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Bob Boyar officiating.

Visitation: 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 5, 2017 at Williams Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Prayer Service: 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 5, 2017 at Williams Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Interment: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.
