Mathilda “Tilly” Potter, 80, Jamestown, died Monday, November 19, 2018, at Eventide, Jamestown.

Mathilda Siebert was born at LaPorte, MN on August 24, 1938, to Anton and Elizabeth (Stark) Siebert. She moved to Kensal with her parents as a very young age. She graduated from Kensal High School in May, 1956.

Mathilda married Donald Potter on November 23, 1964 in Idaho Falls, ID. She worked at numerous nursing homes over the years. He last 20+ years where at Hi-Acres Manor. Her years helping other were her most rewarding and she received awards for her dedication caring for the residents.

She is loved and will be missed greatly by brothers, Allen (Carol) Siebert, Valley City, ND, Lawrence (Dolly) Siebert, Belvedere, IL, Jacob Siebert, Beaufort, SC, Randolph Siebert, Boulder, CO; sisters, Leona (Doug) Mead, Jamestown, Monica Sather, Valley City; nine nieces and five nephews.

Mathilda was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Ann (Jacob) Siebert; nephews, Brian Sather and Cary Allen Siebert; and niece, Roxanne Siebert Morehouse.

Mass of Christian Burial : 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 7, 2019 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown.

Inurnment: St. Mary’s Cemetery, Courtenay, ND.
