Mazie C. Kopp, 83, Jamestown, North Dakota, died Friday, January 7, 2011 at Ave Maria Village in Jamestown.
Mazie Kopp was born May 14, 1927 in Kathryn, North Dakota, the daughter of Carl and Mildred (Kulsrud) Kopp. She grew up in the Kathryn area and graduated from Kathryn High School. She lived in Fargo, Moorhead and Lisbon, ND. Mazie worked as a bookkeeper for Corwin Churchill and Shirley Onstad Plumbing & Heating, both of Fargo. She moved to Jamestown in 2005 and entered Ave Maria Village in 2006.
Mazie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lisbon, ND. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking and baking Norwegian goodies.
Mazie is survived by a daughter, Deb Bale, Jamestown; son, Dave Bjone, New Orleans, LA; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Cleo (Maureen) Kopp, Turtle Lake, ND and Larry (Delores) Kopp, Coon Rapids, MN; two sisters, June Myhre, Lake Havasu, AZ and Geraldine Martin, Seattle, WA; and one sister-in-law, Alma Kopp, St. Paul, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Darlene; and two brothers, Bud and Billy.
