Melvin Gunsch was born September 25, 1935 in Medina, North Dakota to August and Lydia (Kirschenmann) Gunsch. He is survived by his sister, Gladys Laney, Omaha, NE; nephew, Scott Helgelien; niece, Tracy Brunow; great nieces, Marcella, Shea and Kaly; great nephew, Patrick; dear friends, Jerry (Loretta) Helgelien and Peggy Widmer. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Good Shepherd Chapel, Ave Maria Village, Jamestown, ND with Deacon Tom Geffre, officiating.

Visitation: 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, Tuesday, July 8 at Good Shepherd Chapel.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery.
