Merrie Gaiser

Merrie Gaiser, 48, Jamestown North Dakota, died Thursday, December 16, 2004 at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown.

Merrie Helen Vedvig was born March 23, 1956 in Stanley, North Dakota, the daughter of Duane and Dorothy (Johnson) Vedvig. She attended school in Jamestown, graduating from Jamestown High School in 1974. She continued her education by attending Southwestern Junior College in Sayre, OK, graduating in 1990. Merrie returned to Jamestown in 1995 and worked at several restaurants in town. She was currently the manager of the Buck or So store.

Merrie is survived by her parents, Duane and Dorothy Vedvig, son, Adam Gaiser, a sister, Tena (Lyle) Lawrence and two nieces, Megan & Jessica Lawrence, all of Jamestown and a brother, Corwyn Stowell of Witchita, KS.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and a brother, Hal Vedvig.

Memorial Service: 10:00 AM, Monday, December 20, 2004 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown with Rev. Terry Anderson officiating.

The family will be present for visitation from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, Sunday, December 19, 2004 at Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
