Michael James Caulfield

Michael J. Caulfield, 85, of West Fargo, ND, formerly of Jamestown, ND, died Wednesday, October 19, 2011 in West Fargo.

Michael James Caulfield was born October 10, 1926, in Chicago, IL, the son of Michael James and Susan (McCullaugh) Caulfield. He attended Lady of Good Council School in Chicago until the family moved to Jamestown in 1937. Michael graduated from St. John's Academy in 1943. Michael married Dolores Maag in 1953. He worked for several companies before becoming employed by Ottertail Power Co. on November 29, 1944. Michael retired on January 1, 1989 as a power engineer.

He was a life member of the Knight of Columbus and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

Michael is survived by his son, David (Mary Jo) Caulfield, West Fargo; grandson, Christopher (Rae) Caulfield, St. Paul, MN; granddaughter, Brittney Caulfield, Fargo, ND; great-grandson, David Paul Westveer, St. Paul, MN; two brothers, Patrick (Kay) Caulfield, New Rockford, ND and Thomas (Gladys) Caulfield, Indianapolis, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Eucharist of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown.

Visitation: 4:00p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 24, 2011 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Rosary: 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 24, 2011 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown.
