Michael Kruk

Michael Phillip Kruk, 36, Jamestown, ND passed away Monday, February 24, 2025 at a Bismarck Hospital.

Michael was born August 19th, 1988 in Devils Lake, ND to Jeffrey and Janet (Blessum) Kruk.  He attended elementary, middle school, and part of high school in Rugby & Towner, ND, graduating from Beach, ND.

Michael was a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend.  He always had a love for being a waiter and cooking.  In his younger years he worked at the Ranch House in Towner, ND and later was employed by the Depot Café in Jamestown, ND until 2019 when he suffered a life changing back injury confining him to a wheelchair.  This began the next six years of multiple surgeries, infections, and constant pain.  Through it all Michael always had a positive outlook on life and strength to push through.  His smile, humor, and contagious laugh will be missed by all.

Michael is survived by his parents, Jeffrey (Beth) Kruk, East Grand Forks, MN, Janet Kruk, Carson, ND; siblings Amanda Kruk (Tyler), Logan Fosness, all of Bottineau, ND; step-sister Abigail Brouillard, Grand Forks, ND; his fur babies Scooter & Moe; paternal grandparents Jerry and Yvonne Kruk, Langdon, ND; step grandma Pat Brouillard; aunts, uncles Kevin Kruk (Kristi), Fargo, ND, Cindy Danielson (Jay), Grand Forks, ND, Mike (Margo) Blessum, Petersberg, ND, Julie Blessum (Leland), Tolna, ND; cousins Thane & Gavin Kruk, Katie & Christopher Danielson, Jason & Chad Blessum, Michelle (Blessum) Gorder and Jeannie (Blessum) Schell; numerous great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clarence and Shirley Blessum, aunt Nadine Kruk, uncle Harold Blessum.

Honorary pallbearers are Michael’s Medical Teams.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Robert Hill officiating.  Michael's service will be live streamed on his obituary page @eddyfuneralhome.com.  Burial will take place at Island Lake Cemetery, Rollette, ND at a later date.
