Micheal H. Doyle

October 21, 1954 — May 25, 2011

Micheal H. ""Mike"" Doyle, 56, Jamestown, North Dakota passed away at his home Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in the loving care of his daughters, family and Jamestown Hospital Hospice.

Micheal was born October 21, 1954 in Jamestown, the son of Dorsey and Marilyn (Burton) Doyle. He was a life long resident of Jamestown, attending school and graduating from Jamestown High School in 1972. He immediately went to work for Burlington Northern Railroad, where he eventually was assigned to the Building and Bridges Section and remained until his retirement, after 27 years.

In 1974, he married his high school sweetheart, Corinne Braaten, and they had one daughter, Nicole (Jason) Wibstad. Then in 1986, he married Deb McKelvey and had one daughter, Kimberly Jane.

If asked, Micheal's family and friends would tell you he had many talents and was always generous with his time and tools. He was always doing something for someone, yet he still found time to pursue the things he enjoyed. Car and engine repair, rebuilding houses and excavations of all kinds were his talents, but fishing, hunting, camping, casinos, going to concerts, spending time with his daughters, two grandsons, family and friends, and going to coffee with the boys, were his passions. He thoroughly enjoyed planning and preparing the holiday meals, he also became known for his special birthday cakes he made for his daughters and later his grandsons.

Like his father and paternal grandfather, Mike was a lifelong member of the Masons and Shriners.

Mike is survived by his two daughters, Nicole (Jason) Wibstad and Kim Doyle, two grandsons, Jaren and Treyton Wibstad; mother and stepfather, Marilyn and Gene Frahm, two sisters, Michelle (Randy) Siek and Maureen Doyle, all of Jamestown; one brother, Mitch (Nita) Doyle, New Salem, ND; two stepbrothers, Donn (Kristi) Frahm, New Rockford, ND and Jim (Lori) Frahm, Valley City, ND; one step sister, Joan (Paul) Stahlhut, Jamestown; and extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins, who were all very special to him; and his dog, Lady.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dorsey; grandparents; and step sister, Mona Sattler.
