Mildred Rova, 88, Jamestown, North Dakota died Monday, November 20, 2006 at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home in Jamestown.
Mildred Edna Josephson was born September 15, 1918 in Wing, North Dakota, the daughter of Charles E. and Wendla G. (Hemmi) Josephson. She grew up on the family farm and attended school at Wing. On October 30, 1940 Mildred married Arne Rova in South Dakota. He died on July 26, 1955. She lived in Jamestown the past 56 years where she worked for Walsh's Market, National Grocery and Miller's Fairway.
She was a long time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Jamestown.
Mildred is survived by her three sons: Donald (Marilyn) Rova, Seattle, WA, David Rova, Glasgow, MT and Eric (Debra) Rova, Jamestown; one daughter, Margaret (Richard) Loucks, Colorado Springs, CO; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald Josephson, Billings, MT and one sister, Nina Voigt, Long Prairie, MN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arne; son, Thomas; four brothers, Earl, Arnold, Raymond and William and two sisters, Helen Juhala and Hilma Harja.
Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 25, 2006 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Jamestown with Rev. John Syvertson officiating.
Visitation: 1:00 to 6:00 PM, Friday, November 24, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Home in Jamestown, North Dakota.
Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Friday, November 24, 2006 at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
