Mildred Wheeler

Mildred Wheeler, 96, Jamestown, North Dakota died Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at her home in Jamestown.

Mildred Heille was born August 20, 1908 in Hope, North Dakota the daughter of George and Marie (Ebeling) Heille. She came to Jamestown in the fall of 1911 with her parents and received her education in the Jamestown schools. Mildred married Arthur Wheeler on October 10, 1927 in Moorhead, MN. She was a homemaker and lived all her life in Jamestown.

Mildred enjoyed reading, attending local sporting events and watching sports on television.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown and the Royal Neighbors.

Mildred is survived by her daughters, Dolores Mae Kalaher and Jean Marie Nording, both of Jamestown, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one sister, Fern (Jerry) Finch, Jamestown and one brother, George Heille, Seattle, WA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a son, Donald Dale Wheeler.

Services are planned for a later date. No visitation is scheduled.
