Milton Dale Snow, 76, Jamestown, ND died Saturday, July 28, 2012 at his home.
Milt was born June 13, 1936 on the family farm in Kensal, ND, the son of Wilford and Alma (Spitzer) Snow. He attended and graduated from Kensal High School. In 1955 after graduating he married Sharon Smith. He then entered and served as a Staff Sergeant in the US Air Force until 1959. From 1959 to 1960 he was employed at Eddy Furniture Co. as a salesman, 1960-1972 he was employed at Tempo, Gambles as a salesman, in 1972 he opened up his first business, Snow's Appliance Center, until the spring of 1977. On August 29, 1977 Milt married Judith (Buchwitz) Nelson and then started working at Don Wilhelm, Inc. as a salesman. In 1986 Milt and Judy opened Snow's RV Sales and in 1993 they added Snow's Appliance Center to their business. In 1998 they sold Snow's RV and Appliance Center and retired. In 2003 he came out of retirement and opened Country Side RV and in 2010 his son, Jeff and wife, Ramie, purchased it from them. He continued to work there until his death.
Milt enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, flying his planes, going to the casino with his wife, and being a self-made entrepreneur. He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Jamestown.
Milt is survived by his wife, Judy, Jamestown; seven children, Kenneth (Carmen) Snow, Billings, MT, David Snow, Denver, CO, Cindy Hample, Adrian, ND, Tamera Snow, Fargo, ND, Julie (Dale) Stahlecker, Jamestown, Robert (Dana) Nelson, Princeton, IN and Jeffery (Ramie) Nelson, Jamestown; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ron (Ann) Snow, Jamestown.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Doran Snow.
