Mindy Guthmiller

Mindy Guthmiller, 33, Lincoln, ND passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Sanford Continuing Care Center, Mandan, ND. Mindy Haider was born December 16, 1981 to Donald and LaVonne (Vinquist) Haider. She graduated from Mandan High in 2000 and married Trent in 2003. Mindy dearly loved all of her family and friends. Her girls were her pride and joy and was always sharing stories about their accomplishments. She enjoyed doing special things for others, especially the kids. Mindy's girls remember her scrap booking to capture family memories, making "really good" stir-fry and always beating them when they played pool. She also planned elaborate birthday parties for her girls. Mindy enjoyed going camping, spending time out on the lake and soaking up the sun. If there was music playing you could find her dancing with the kids and anyone else who would join in. There were times that you could find Mindy playing in the dirt in her short skirt and high heel shoes with a smile on her face. Mindy's favorite sayings were: "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away." and "Other things may change but we start and end with family." This is how she lived her life.
Mindy is survived by the ones she loved: her husband, Trent; her daughters, Jordan and Taylor; her parents, Don and LaVonne (Vinquist) Haider, her brother, Curtis Haider; her parents-in-law; Allen and Diana (Fettig) Guthmiller; her sister-in-law, Deni (Ben) Heidt; her niece and nephew, Dyllan and Austin Heidt and many other family and friends.

Funeral service: 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Pettibone, ND with Pastor Steve Behrens, officiating.
Burial: Pettibone City Cemetery.
