Minnie L. Fisher

Minnie L. Fisher, 96, Rockford, IL, died at 10:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2002 at Asta Care Center in Illinois.

Minnie Larson was born September 29, 1906, in Crystal Springs, N.D., the daughter of Louis and Gertrude Larson. She married Jean Val Fisher, in Jamestown, N.D., on March 21, 1924. He died on July 18, 1948. Minnie moved to Rockford, IL in 1957 where she lived until the time of her death. She was employed for many years at State & Madison Café and at Burrson Knitting Company.

She attended Zion Lutheran Church.

Minnie is survived by three daughters, Joyce (William) Sharp, Upland, CA; Ferne (John) Fandwich, Washington; Darlene (Wayne) Sandberg, Rockford, IL; two sons, John (Martha) Fisher and Jean Fisher; both of Rockford, IL; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers and sisters.

Burial was held on Thursday, December 19, 2002 at Tappen Cemetery in Tappen, N.D.
