Mona Sattler

Mona Jean Sattler, 52, of Fargo, ND, died Thursday, August 30, 2007 in Fargo, ND.

Mona Jean Frahm was born December 29, 1954, in Valley City, ND, the daughter of Eugene and Pearl (Mahlke) Frahm. She grew up on the family farm near Dazey, ND and attended and graduated from Wimbledon High School. She attended college in Fargo and graduated from Valley City State University with a teaching degree. Mona was a music teacher in New Leipzig, ND for three years. She then taught band and choir in Ada, MN for three years. Mona was a very talented musician and enjoyed playing various instruments and singing. She married Greg Sattler. Later, Mona was employed at Lutheran Social Services in Fargo.

Mona is survived by one daughter, Andrea, West Fargo, ND; one son, Spencer, West Fargo, ND; parents, Gene (Marilyn) Frahm, Jamestown, ND; grandmother, Gladys Frahm, Valley City, ND; two brothers, Donn (Kristi), New Rockford, ND and Jim (Lori), Valley City, ND; one sister, Joan (Paul) Stahlhut, Jamestown, ND; two step-brothers, Mike Doyle, Jamestown, and Mitch (Nita) Doyle, New Salem, ND; two step-sisters, Michelle (Randy) Siek, Jamestown, ND and Maureen Doyle, Jamestown, ND.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Pearl Frahm; maternal grandparents, Emil and Marie Mahlke; and paternal grandfather, Ervin Frahm.

Funeral Service: 11:00AM, Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at St. John's United Methodist Church, Wimbledon, ND, with Rev. Jeff Levy officiating.

Visitation: 1:00PM - 8:00PM, Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Burial: Prairie View Cemetery, Wimbledon, ND.
