Myrland ""Bud"" Lang, 90, Jamestown, died Thursday, September 21, 2006 at Lynwood Healthcare Center, Fridley, MN.

Bud was born May 13, 1916, in Vesta, Minnesota, the son of Wenzel John Lang and his wife, Anna Paulina Yackel. He grew up and attended school in Redwood Falls, MN, graduating from Redwood Falls High School in 1934. He moved to Jamestown in the late 1930's. On January 1, 1940, he married Jessie nee Fraser in Moorhead, MN, and they moved permanently to Jamestown in 1944. He was a master plumber for Jamestown Plumbing & Heating for many years until his retirement.

Bud was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, serving on the church council and various committees through the years.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Butch and Patti Lang of Bismarck, ND; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and the Rev. Jim Sandeen of Denver, CO and Jessie and Gilbert Maestas of Champlin, MN; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and two brothers, Eddie & Bob.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie; parents; one brother and six sisters.

Funeral Service: 10:00 AM, Monday, October 2, 2006 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Jamestown with Rev. Eric Libby officiating.

Visitation: 4:00 to 8:00 PM, Sunday, October 1, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Home in Jamestown and one hour before the service at the church.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Jamestown.
