Myron W. Buetow

Myron ""Mike"" W. Buetow, 79, of Jamestown, ND, died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown, ND.

Myron Buetow was born November 28, 1928, the son of Walter and Melinda (Perleberg) Buetow, in rural Eldridge, ND. He attended school in the Lippert School district, rural Eldridge, and completed his education while serving in the United States Army from 1951 to 1953. Myron was stationed in various states while serving in the military.

On August 30, 1953 he married Alleen Boschee at the Reformed Church in Wishek, ND. Myron and Alleen resided in Jamestown throughout their married life. He managed the M&H gas station and later worked for the YMCA in Jamestown. Myron was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown and served as Deacon for several years and also ushered for over 50 years.

Myron enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons. He loved spending time with his family and was very proud of his eight grandchildren.

Myron is survived by his wife, Alleen, Jamestown; two sons, Randy (Moni), Moorhead, MN and Terry (Suz), Bismarck, ND; one daughter, Connie (Gene) Huber, Utica, SD; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Adeline Wanzek.

Funeral Service: 2:00PM, Saturday, November 29, 2008 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown, with Pastor Ruth Kaden officiating.

Visitation: 4:00PM-8:00PM, Friday, November 28, 2008 at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.
