Nancy Leeson

Nancy Leeson, 68, Jamestown, ND passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016 at her home.
Nancy Bear was born March 5, 1948 in Jamestown, North Dakota to David and LaVonne (Finnegan) Bear. Nancy was raised on the farm south of Spiritwood. She graduated from Jamestown High School in 1966, then moved to Colorado later that year. Nancy worked at Neo Data from 1969-1970, Western Cutlery in 1972 and as a housewife. Nancy loved to read, collectable dolls, lighthouses, enjoyed camping, going to church and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen Leeson; daughter Tanya Kostal; grandchildren Russell, Joshua, Nancy Kostal; brother Leland (Judy) Bear; three nieces, two nephews and several grand nieces and grand nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents David and Lavonne Bear.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to help family offset various costs.

Funeral service: 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 8 at Victory Lutheran Brethren Church, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Shawn Bowman, officiating with a lunch to immediately follow.
Visitation: 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday at Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Wednesday at Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Burial: Highland Home Cemetery.
