Nancy C. Perleberg, 84, Jamestown, N.D. died Sunday, August 25, 2002 at the Jamestown Hospital in Jamestown, N.D.
Nancy Mizener was born April 7, 1918 in Cleveland, N.D., the daughter of Hiram and Ida (Ludvigsen) Mizener. She attended school in Round Top Township.
She married Alva Perleberg on April 28, 1934 in Jamestown, N.D. They farmed in Round Top Township and in Hidden Township in Stutsman County before moving to Jamestown in January of 1983. Alva died in November of 1983.
Nancy was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Jamestown where she was active in Ladies Aid, T.H.E.O.S., and the Wednesday Quilting Group. She enjoyed her family, her flowers, quilting, and reading.
She is survived by six sons, Floyd (Barbara) Perleberg, of New Rockford, N.D.; John (Marlys) Perleberg, of Pingree, N.D.; Herman (Linda) Perleberg, of Pingree, N.D.; Frank (JoAnne) Perleberg, of Buchanan, N.D.; H. Thomas (Debbie) Perleberg, of Buchanan, N.D.; Wendell (Judy) Perleberg, of Buchanan, N.D.; twenty grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; three sisters, Emmaline Schleicher, of Menahga, MN; Ethel (Hugh) Smith, of Richville, MN; and Edith Olson, Brush Prairie, WA. She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband, four grandchildren, and three sisters.
Funeral Service: 2:00 P.M. - Wednesday, August 28, 2002 at St. John's Lutheran Church - Jamestown, with Rev. Doug Opp officiating.
Prayer Service: 7:30 P.M. - Tuesday, August 27, 2002 at Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, N.D.
Visitation: Tuesday, August 27, 2002 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, N.D.
Burial: Highland Home Cemetery - Jamestown, N.D.
