Nellie Klose

Nellie Klose, 87, Jamestown, ND, died Monday, November 22, 2010 at Hi-Acres Manor, Jamestown, ND.

Nellie Juanita Wolf was born July 19, 1923 in Sharlow Township near Millarton, ND, the daughter of George and Anna (Novak) Wolf. She was raised on the family farm in Sharlow Township and attended the Sharlow Township School. She later attended Jamestown High School, graduating in 1940. On October 25, 1941, she married Anthony "Tony" Klose at St. James Catholic Church in Jamestown, ND and they settled in Woodbury Township near Jamestown. Tony died on May 30, 1991 and in May of 1994, Nellie moved to Jamestown, ND. In June of 2007, Nellie moved to Rock of Ages Care Center and in September of 2010, she entered Eventide at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home.

Nellie was a member of St. James Basilica and St. James Circle. She was also a member of the Klose Homemakers Club and loved gardening.

Survivors include 7 children: Anthony (Phyllis) Klose, Jamestown, ND; David (Kim) Klose, Fargo, ND; Thomas (Jackie) Klose, Missoula, MT; Richard Klose, Jamestown, ND; Charlotte (Daniel) Anderson, Jamestown, ND; Evelyn (Brian) Kappel, Fargo, ND; Rose Klose, Phoenix, AZ; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and a brother, George, Omaha, NE.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother and a sister.

Funeral - 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown, ND.

Prayer Service - 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2010 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND.

Visitation - 9:00 a.m - 7:00 p.m. Monday, at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND and 1 hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.
