Nina Alma Anderson

Nina Anderson, 79, of New Rockford, ND, passed away Wednesday morning, September 11, 2024 at 4th Corporation, New Rockford.

Nina Alma Anderson was born with cerebral palsy on January 1, 1945, the daughter of Charles and Mabel (Masiel) Anderson.  She was cared for by her family until her mother died in 1964, then her brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Carol Anderson took her in.  In 1966 she moved to Grafton, and then to New Rockford in 1985 where her home has been since.  Nina loved to watch people, and enjoyed the company of children and animals. She also had a sweet tooth!

Nina is survived by a brother, Joel Anderson; sister, Darlene Cox; and special friend, Jerry Linderman.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Eugene, David, William, Jack, Paul, Jerome, Roger, and Daniel.

Graveside Service – 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Lakeview Cemetery, Marion, ND.  A reception will follow at the Marion Community Hall.
