Nyla Anderson

Nyla Anderson, 75, West Fargo, ND, formerly of Edgeley, ND, died Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Meritcare Hospital, Fargo, ND.

Nyla June Maly was born June 12, 1934 on the family farm northwest of Merricourt, ND, the daughter of Lillis and Edith (Murray) Maly. She attended 8 years at the local country school and 3 years at Edgeley High School. On June 26, 1951, she married Roy L. Anderson at Transfiguration Catholic Church in Edgeley, ND and they settled on a farm near Edgeley. In 1976, they moved to Edgeley where she worked at the Manor St. Joseph for many years. Roy died in 1986. In 2001, Nyla moved to West Fargo.

Nyla was a member of Transfiguration Catholic Church and Transfiguration Altar Society.

Survivors include 3 children: LaVerne (Deb) Anderson, Edgeley, ND; Brenda Anderson, Fargo, ND; Becky (Robert) Klein, West Fargo, ND; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 brothers, 1 sister and 1 grandchild.

Funeral - 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2009 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley, ND

Prayer Service - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley, ND.

Visitation - noon to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Edgeley, ND

Interment - Mount Hope Cemetery, Edgeley, ND
