Olean Larson

Olean Larson, 86, longtime resident of Valley City, North Dakota died Sunday, April 6, 2008 at Mercy Hospital in Valley City.

Olean Irene Lutz was born May 21, 1921 near Edmunds, North Dakota the daughter of Herman and Tillie (Vogel) Lutz. She married Christ Larson on October 7, 1957. They farmed near Pingree until 1968 when they moved to Valley City. They owned the Bel-Air Motel, until retiring in 1976.

She was an active member of the Pingree Congregational Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir becoming a member of the Nazarene Church in Valley City. Her love of children and dedication to her faith was an inspiration to all.

Olean is survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Thursday, April 10, 2008 at the Church of the Nazarene, Valley City, North Dakota with Rev. Fred Morrison officiating.

Visitation: 12:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, April 8, 2008 and 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at the Eddy Funeral Home in Jamestown, ND.

Burial: Pingree Cemetery, Pingree, North Dakota.
