On October 30th at 2:30 AM Otto put down his tools and finished his last day of work. He went on to be with Alvina, his wife of 62 years. Otto left behind three son's, Johnny (Kathy), Jerry (Cindy) and David (Darlene). He also said so long to five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Otto Karl Kracht was born June 14, 1927 to Otto and Mae (Van Winkle) Kracht on the farm at Courtenay, ND. He was raised there until they later moved to Pingree, ND. Otto joined the military in 1945. He was honorably discharged in 1947. He went on to marry Alvina Job in 1949. Otto moved to Jamestown and worked for Peterson Biddick for 18 years, White Drug for 18 years and later worked along side of his son in Valley City.
Otto enjoyed fishing with Alvina and deer hunting with his son. He was quick witted and enjoyed a good laugh.
He is survived by his three sons; seven grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth (Dorothy), Carrington, ND; two sisters, Grace (Larry) Diede, Jamestown, ND and Edith Zerface, Garrison, ND. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, four brothers and two sisters.
No memorials was a wish of Otto's. Please contribute to your favorite charity.

Memorial service: 11:00 AM, Friday, November 4, 2016 at Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Bryce Tahran, officiating.
No visitation is scheduled.
Burial at Highland Home Cemetery at a later date.
