Ovedia Krivobok

Ovedia Krivobok, 85, Jamestown, North Dakota died Monday, October 22, 2007 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota.

Ovedia Christine Sovig was born October 27, 1921 in Arnegard, ND, the daughter of John and Ella (Christianson) Sovig. Ovedia grew up in Arnegard and graduated from Arnegard High School. She graduated from Jamestown College in 1940 with a degree in education. On June 2, 1945 Ovedia married William Krivobok at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jamestown. She taught school for one year in Kulm, ND, one year in Watford City, ND, seven years in Killdeer, ND, and twenty-four years in Jamestown from where she retired.

Ovedia is survived by her husband, William, of Jamestown; two brothers, Otto Sovig, Fair Play, CO and Oscar Sovig, Mesa, AZ and one sister, Edith Sanders, Lisle, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Service: 11:00AM, Monday, October 29, 2007 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown, with Pastor Rich Fitzer officiating.

Visitation: 9:00 to 11:00AM, Monday, October 29, 2007 at the church.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota
