Patricia Hess

February 23, 2008 Patricia ""Pat"" Louise Hess, 72, Jamestown, North Dakota peacefully passed away at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home, Jamestown, ND, after a long struggle with her health.

Patricia Boyer was born December 30, 1935 at Brantford, North Dakota, daughter of Harold and Anna (Johnson) Boyer. She grew up on the family farm outside of Brantford. Her love of reading has been shared by many of the grandchildren.

Patricia and DeVern enjoyed 55 years of married life together while raising their four sons. She was an active member of the Brantford and Jud, ND communities while DeVern was the elevator manager between the years of 1959-1986. They retired to Jamestown, ND.

Pat is survived by her husband, DeVern, of Jamestown; four sons, Michael (Gloria), Houston, TX, Timothy (Marlene), Wichita, KS, Steven (Pam), Courtenay, ND and Rob (Julie), Alfred, ND; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one brother, Mel Boyer, New Rockford, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Clair and Harold Boyer; and one sister, Muriel.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at Atonement Lutheran Church, Jamestown, with Pastor Steve Berntson officiating.

Visitation: 2:00 to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at the Eddy Funeral Home in Jamestown.

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Spring burial: Grace City Cemetery, Grace City, North Dakota
