Patricia Hoeckle

Patricia Hoeckle, 66, Jamestown, North Dakota died unexpectedly Friday, January 12, 2007 at her home.

Patricia McPherson was born June 15, 1940 in Woodworth, ND, the daughter of Eugene and Edna (Graves) McPherson. She attended school in Jamestown graduating in 1958, then went to beauty school in Fargo. She married Mike McLaughlin October 15, 1960 in Jamestown and they moved to Hazen, ND where they lived from 1966 to 1991. Pat then moved to Bismarck where she worked for the State Land Dept. as an Administrative Assistant and moved back to Jamestown in 1996. On September 29, 2000 Pat married Myron Hoeckle in Jamestown.

Pat enjoyed singing, playing piano, quilting, sewing and gardening.

She loved being a mother and homemaker and entertaining people at her home. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all of her family.

While living in Hazen she was active in the Women's Ministries, playing the piano and other church related functions at Immanuel Baptist Church, Beulah. She was also a member of the Christian Womens Group in Bismarck and was director of the Jamestown Christian Womens Group.

Pat is survived by her husband, Myron, of Jamestown; three daughters, Dawn (Kevin) Grindahl, West Fargo, ND, Paula (Bill) Lavelle, Fargo, ND and Kelli (Kelly) Heier, Ray, ND; ten grandchildren, Amanda, Jarred, Zachary, Charlcey, Brody, William, Alexandra, Matthew, Samantha and Kendra; three great-grandchildren, Sydney, Victor and Jada; her mother, Edna McPherson, Jamestown; two brothers, Mac (Betty) McPherson, Jamestown and Paul McPherson, Houston, TX and a special niece, Michelle (Steve) Hibl, New England, ND.

She was preceded in death by her father and one daughter, Teresa McLaughlin.

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at the First Church of the Narazene, Jamestown with Rev. Richard Reynolds officiating.

Visitation: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday, January 15, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Monday, January 15, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel

Burial: Pingree Cemetery, Pingree, North Dakota
